1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using SubSweep ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
SubSweep is a subscription management application that scans your connected email accounts to detect paid subscriptions, track spending, and provide renewal reminders. The App processes emails on your device and does not store email content on external servers.
3. Account and Access
To use SubSweep, you must sign in with a Google account. By signing in, you grant SubSweep read-only access to your Gmail account for the purpose of subscription detection. You may also connect a Microsoft account for Outlook email access.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and accounts. SubSweep is not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from compromised device security.
4. Premium Subscription
SubSweep offers a free tier and a Premium subscription:
- Free tier: 1 email account, 1 full scan, manual subscription management, calendar view, renewal notifications
- Premium ($2.99/month): Up to 5 email accounts, automatic incremental scans, cancellation guides, unlimited screenshot OCR, duplicate detection
Premium subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store. A 7-day free trial is available for new subscribers. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can manage and cancel your subscription through your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions at any time.
5. Email Access and Privacy
SubSweep requests read-only access to your email. We cannot compose, send, delete, or modify your emails in any way. Email processing occurs on your device. For details on how your data is handled, see our Privacy Policy.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Attempt to bypass subscription or feature restrictions
- Use the App to access email accounts you do not own or have authorization to access
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
7. Accuracy of Information
SubSweep uses AI-based detection to identify subscriptions from your emails. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that all subscriptions will be detected or that detected information (prices, renewal dates, billing cycles) will be completely accurate. Always verify subscription details with the service provider before making financial decisions.
8. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, features, and content, is owned by SubSweep and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
SubSweep is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely accurate in its subscription detection.
SubSweep is a tracking and information tool. It does not provide financial advice, and you should not rely solely on the App for financial decisions.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SubSweep and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to:
- Missed subscription renewals or charges
- Inaccurate subscription detection or pricing information
- Loss of data stored on your device
- Unauthorized access to your accounts due to compromised device security
11. Termination
You may stop using SubSweep at any time by signing out and uninstalling the App. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App if you violate these Terms.
12. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of SubSweep after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Istanbul, Turkey.
